Pakistan. He later on moved to Frontier Works Organization in the year 1995 as a Chief Surveyor on Ratodero-Gawadar Motorway and Indus Highway project which included development of roads, bridges, and culverts.

 

Shmim-ul-Haque a self owned man started his careers as lab technician in French Company on a Jinnah terminal project under the civil Aviation Authority Karachi airport and M/s Bachetel Interna- tonal in 1990s.

Due to his hard work, experience and ability to grow in the field of construction he decided to start his own work under the name of City Builders. He laid down the foundation of the firm with some small projects like boundary walls and connecting in Lahore Medical College.
